This activity is designed to be a reading/listening comprehension assignment. It comes with quizzes on both Dimension A and B levels. Plus a bonus “Alternate B” for student with more severe disabilities. The activity comes with 36 different quizzes. (The quizzes cover more than one chapter, since most chapters are very short.) The Dimension A quizzes have 10 questions with three possible answers per question. The Dimension B quizzes have 6 questions with three possible answers per question. The Alternate B consists of six pictures that are placed in front of the student while the story is being read. The student then places the pictures in order after the listening to the story. Bonus: The activity comes with seven printable pictures. One of each of the six main characters and sample book cover to assist in creating a bulletin board.

This activity does NOT come with the story/book. The book needs to be purchased separately.

I teach a wide variety of grades. I'm in a small school that has middle and high schools combined. I teach 6 grades. So, having pre-made materials that I could print and sort by student made it easy for me to stay organized while working with multiple students on multiple grade levels, ability levels, and subjects all at the same time. This same binder system also eliminated the need for substitute lesson plan preps as my paraprofessional and the sub were able to easily see where each student was at that moment and continue instruction.
