Common Core Content Activity: Using Information from Various Sources ES
Using Information from Various Sources ES: In these activities, we learn how to use the maps, photographs, charts, and timelines in the text to determine different types of information. The students are introduced to two elementary school students (Jake and Josie) and are learning about the events around 9/11 to help with understanding and learning the content. Throughout the unit, the students practice activities on different examples. Each activity is completed on two different levels for differentiated instruction.
Extras– bulletin board pictures, vocabulary word cards, practice assessment, and answer key.
The unit also comes with a chapter book on events around 9/11 in both Dimension A and Dimension B levels
